-Confirm that a fetus is growing inside the uterus

- Exclude the chance of an ectopic pregnancy

- Check whether it's a single or twin pregnancy

- Estimate the gestational age of the baby

- Resolve the cause of any pain or bleeding

- like ruling out a miscarriage or ovarian cyst.

           In certain cases (usually during week 6), it may be necessary to carry out an early pregnancy scan vaginally for maximum accuracy and precision, as suggested by NICE guidelines. Rest assured that if this is the case, our doctor will explain the process thoroughly and present you with full scan results in detail, along with photos.
