Pregnancy Scans

Spashta Diagnostics

Welcome to Spashta Diagnostics, where we offer a range of pregnancy scans to help you monitor the health and development of your baby throughout your pregnancy. Our scans are performed by experienced sonographers using state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and safety for you and your baby.

Viability scan:The viability scan is typically the first scan performed in pregnancy and is used to confirm the pregnancy and check the fetal heartbeat. This scan can be performed from as early as 6 weeks of pregnancy.

Nuchal translucency scan:The nuchal translucency (NT) scan is performed between 11 and 13 weeks of pregnancy and is used to assess the risk of Down's syndrome and other chromosomal abnormalities. The NT measurement is taken from the back of the baby's neck and, when combined with maternal age and blood test results, can provide an accurate estimate of the risk of these conditions.

Targeted imaging for fetal anomalies scan:The targeted imaging for fetal anomalies (TIFFA) scan is performed between 18 and 22 weeks of pregnancy and is used to assess the baby's anatomy and detect any structural abnormalities. This scan can also provide information about the baby's growth, placental position, and amniotic fluid levels.

Fetal growth scan:The fetal growth scan is usually performed between 28 and 32 weeks of pregnancy and is used to assess the baby's size and growth rate. This scan can detect if the baby is growing too slowly or too quickly, which can indicate potential problems with the placenta or the baby's overall health.

Fetal echo scan:The fetal echo scan is a specialized ultrasound scan that is performed between 18 and 24 weeks of pregnancy. This scan is used to assess the structure and function of the baby's heart and detect any heart defects or abnormalities.

Fetal doppler scan:The fetal doppler scan is used to measure blood flow in the baby's umbilical cord and other blood vessels. This scan is usually performed from 26 weeks of pregnancy and can detect any issues with blood flow that could indicate problems with the placenta or the baby's overall health.
